Lee High School serves a diverse student population where students speak over 40 different languages.   Lee High School feels that the diversity at the school adds to the student's educational experiences, where we are also strongly committed to academic excellence.  Here we engage students in rigorous curriculum with varied learning experiences.  This enables them to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, researchers, effective communicators, and lifelong learners. 

 

Our mission at Lee High School is to ensure that every student graduates from high school with the knowledge, skills and habits needed for success in post-secondary education and high quality employment.  We encourage parents and other community members to understand and support our mission.  

Lee High School Happenings

1st Annual Lee Film Festival
The film festival was held April 2nd and 3rd. It included over 80 minutes of student-made video and media projects. The works included documentary projects, animations, short films, commercials, music videos, and book review.   • Abigail D. and Noorah A. won Honorary Mentions in the Houston Bar Association Annual Video Contest
  • DramaLee Cast & Crew of The Waiting Room who advanced to the area competition with their award winning performance
  • Lee Ocean Bowl Team (Rigo A., Samantha B., Kelvin Lo, Liaquat A., David M., Kristin J., Coach Bersabal, Coach Powers & Coach Walker) for winning 1st place in the regional competition at Texas A&M.
  • Lana H., Meron H., Quan N., Jose V., Eman J., Roger H., Marielena G., Victoria R. made us proud with their effort and accomplishment in the JETS Team Math & Science Competition
  • Lee Science Bowl Team (Ashley A., Rigoberto S., German G., Yenenesh M., Thimote M., Sandra A., & Coach Bersabal) for winning the regional contest and earning 5th place in the United States at the NOBCCHE Science Competition in St. Louis
  • JROTC Cadets who earned the Honor Unit with Distinction award during Federal Inspection.
